My dear friend Bill Landiss, campus minister of the Wesley Foundation at Georgia Tech, always ended his worship services with this prayer. I originally arranged this short text for soprano and piano in the 80s and decided to arrange it for a capella choir after Bill died in 2001. Bill’s sermons and guidance provided inspiration and wonderful insights for countless students during his decades of service at the corner of Fourth and Fowler.
May the life that is God animate our frames
May the truth that is God illuminate our minds
And may the love that is God fill our hearts and govern our lives.
